Royal jelly is the white, gelatinous substance honeybees produce to feed the queen bee and her larvae. Happy Valley collects its royal jelly in Auckland and sells it frozen. It can be applied to the skin, added to skincare, blended into a smoothie or mixed with honey as a spread.
